This Privacy Policy explains how smart-keys.shop (the “Store”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit the Store or place an order.

2. What data we collect
- Order data: your email address, name (if provided), country, the products you buy, order amount and order history.
- Payment data: payment status, payment method type and transaction ID. Card details are entered on the payment provider’s secure page and are never stored by us.
- Communication data: messages you send to our support.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, language, pages viewed, and data collected by cookies.
3. Why we use your data
- to process your order and deliver the product to your email (performance of a contract);
- to provide customer support, replacements and refunds (performance of a contract);
- to prevent fraud and secure payments (legitimate interest);
- to meet accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation);
- to improve the Store and show prices in your currency and language (legitimate interest);
- to send marketing emails, only if you subscribe (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
4. Who we share data with
We share only the data needed for each purpose with:
- Our hosting provider (Cloudways, on DigitalOcean servers), which hosts our Store and its order data;
- payment providers that process card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and cryptocurrency payments and perform fraud checks;
- email and delivery services that send your product and order notifications;
- authorities, when required by law.
We never sell your personal data.
5. Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the Store to work (cart, checkout, language and currency), and, with your consent where required, analytics cookies that help us understand how the Store is used. You can manage cookies in your browser settings and in the cookie banner.
6. Data retention
Order and payment records are kept for as long as required by accounting and tax law (usually up to 5 years). Other data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above.
7. International transfers
Our service providers may process data outside your country. In such cases we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To exercise your rights, email support@smart-keys.shop; we reply within 30 days.
9. Security
The Store uses HTTPS encryption. Payments are handled by certified payment providers. Access to customer data is limited to what is needed to fulfil orders.
10. Children
The Store is not intended for persons under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page with its date.
